...I've been watching the Dozing Green PV way too often today... makes me want to draw millipedes...
If you are interested, the lyrics to the song go like this:
"Mesmerized by those eyes with bugs crawling on them, my breathing stops
My heart calms itself
The refreshing sun mixes in with sound of the rain
My slashed heart dances, and i question in vain
The white voice, the leaking of the breath in the sun
The obscene exposure of the wound
Disappears into nothing, the wind of dogma
Your melting heart
The dark morning, echoing goodbye
My slashed heart dances, and i question in vain
I just want to be alone right now
A single season of spring, even the tearful neck and you crawling the earth
Love Me
Abandon Hope"
Well, I think this can capture the feeling of the lyrics, but not the actual sound of the song, sadly... the music itself is much more sensual, so I think... this is really more based off the feeling I got when reading the lyrics like a piece of poetry, rather than the feel of the music. Cus the music makes me go *umf* rather that... something so desolate like this.
The inking... became very stark, alot heavier than what I normally do, but I think it suits the look? I hope so anyway
I hope you can see the details in the preview size... if not, please fullview, because there are things like the texture of her hair, her cracked nails, and the millipedes that don't come across very well in this size.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
